So the pinnacle of evolution is a member of a camera club? Yikes!

next step, smaller camera with integrated flash, tripod, backpack, six lenses, two mobile phones, a computer ...... what fuck.

I guess my graphic is misleading since evolution doesn't have any pinnacle or even a goal. But I will say that photographers are remarkably adaptable to a wide variety of environments and stimulus, so all things considered our evolutionary fitness is probably higher than average.

If anyone has a good silhouette representing the next step, please pass it along.

at least for me if it was a misleading graph, I gave me to understand the need seems to have many photographers to expand their teams more and more gadgets, and after all, I think the camera does not do the photographer.

in your graphic I saw something more basic than adaptability to the environment of the photographers. sorry.

if I find a worthy figure to appear on the next place, I'll send, will be a pleasure talking with you.

best regards.

Unfortunately the silhoutte is fairly accurate. A friend teaches a 'Street Photography' course and I saw one of their field trips. Almost without exception the students were armed with DSLR's and massive lenses, including some Great Whites more suitable for bird photography. They also had backpacks stuffed with gear. Whatever happened to one small camera and one lens?

Sorry, I couldn't find a good readable sillhuoette of a small camera. The figure is supposed to represent a generic photographer, not necessarily a tech-geek. One-camera, one-lens is certainly the way evolution equipped our bodies, so I like that approach to seeing.

I wanted to propose to eliminate the flash, but it would be too cruel on my part ... but I am an unconditional of B.
